1. Who we are

SickFlash is a trade name of Quentin Houles, sole trader, Fin Palais, 3 rue du Corps Franc du Sidobre, 81210 Lacrouzette, France (RCS Castres 843 703 398, VAT FR 63 843703398, alexandre.studio.visuals@gmail.com). These terms apply to every order placed on this website.

2. What we sell

SickFlash designs custom tattoos from your brief. We sell digital files, not tattoos. Depending on the pack, you receive by email:

  • an HD image of the final design,
  • a stencil-ready linework file your tattoo artist can print,
  • a preview of the design on skin (a digital mockup, not a photo of a real tattoo).

We do not tattoo anyone, and we are not a tattoo studio.

3. Packs and prices

  • Custom design (€29): 1 design from your brief, 1 round of changes, first sketch within 72 hours.
  • Premium design (€49): 3 different sketches to choose from, 2 rounds of changes, first sketches within 48 hours.

Prices are in euros, VAT included. The price charged is the one shown when you pay.

4. Ordering and payment

You fill in the brief (style, idea, references, placement, size, ink), pick a pack, accept these terms and pay through Shopify's secure checkout. The contract is formed once payment is confirmed, and you receive a confirmation email. We never see or store your card details.

5. Timing and delivery

Times start from your order confirmation and count business days (excluding weekends and French public holidays). All files are sent to the email address you gave at checkout. Please check your spam folder. If we cannot meet a deadline, we tell you by email with a new date.

6. Changes

A "round of changes" means adjustments to the proposed design (details, proportions, elements to add or remove, linework). A completely new concept is not a change. If the first sketch is clearly off from your brief, we redraw it from scratch once, at no extra cost. Unused change rounds expire 30 days after the first sketch is sent.

7. Your brief and references

You confirm that the information and images you send are yours or that you are allowed to share them. References are used as inspiration only: we do not copy another artist's work, and we do not draw copyrighted characters, logos or brands. We may refuse or cancel (with a full refund) any order whose content is hateful, illegal, or infringes someone else's rights.

8. Getting it tattooed

Every design is drawn to be tattooable, but the final result depends on your tattoo artist, your skin and the placement. Talk to your artist before your session; they may adapt the design. We are not responsible for the tattoo itself, its execution, healing or any health matter. Tattoos are for adults: if you are under 18, you need the consent of a parent or legal guardian to order, and you must follow the law of your country to get tattooed.

9. Who owns the design

Quentin Houles (SickFlash) keeps the copyright on the drawings. Once you have paid, you get a personal, worldwide and permanent licence to:

  • get the design tattooed (by any artist, as many times as you like, on yourself),
  • keep and print the files for that purpose,
  • share photos of your tattoo and of the design (credit "@sickflash" is appreciated but optional).

You may not sell the design, use it on products, or give it to someone else to resell.

We never resell your design or sell it to another client. We may show it in our portfolio and on social media; if you prefer we don't, just email us and we won't.

10. Your right of withdrawal (EU customers)

By law, you normally have 14 days to cancel an online purchase. Because each design is made for you and delivered digitally, when you order you ask us to start drawing right away and you accept that you lose this right once your design has been fully delivered (French Consumer Code, art. L221-28, 1° and 13°). You confirm this by ticking the box before payment.

If you cancel within 14 days before your final design is delivered:

  • before your first sketch is sent: full refund;
  • after your first sketch is sent: we refund 50% (the part of the work already done).

To cancel, email alexandre.studio.visuals@gmail.com with your order number, or use the form at the end of these terms. Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days.

11. Liability

We are responsible for delivering the files described above. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for delays caused by events outside our control (force majeure, outages of Shopify or email providers).

13. Complaints

Contact us first at alexandre.studio.visuals@gmail.com; we reply within 5 business days and will do our best to find a fair solution.

14. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country's law. Disputes go to the competent courts.
