Privacy policy

Who is responsible

Quentin Houles (SickFlash), Fin Palais, 3 rue du Corps Franc du Sidobre, 81210 Lacrouzette, France, alexandre.studio.visuals@gmail.com, is the data controller for this site.

What we collect

  • Order details: name, email, billing address, order history (through Shopify).
  • Your brief: your idea, style, placement, size, ink choices and the reference images you upload.
  • Payment: handled by Shopify and its payment providers. We never see your full card number.
  • Browsing data: cookies and similar tools used by Shopify to run the store and, only if you agree, for statistics or marketing.
  • Messages you send us.

Why we use it (and the legal basis)

  • To create and deliver your design and handle your order (contract).
  • To keep invoices and accounting records (legal obligation).
  • To answer your messages and prevent fraud (legitimate interest).
  • To send you news or offers, and for statistics/marketing cookies (only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).

Who receives it

Only the services we need to run SickFlash:

  • Shopify (hosting, checkout, payments),
  • our email provider, to send you your sketches and files,
  • the digital drawing tools we use to create your design, including AI image tools. Your brief and reference images may be processed by these tools only to produce your sketches.

Some of these providers are outside the EU (for example in Canada or the USA). In that case, transfers are protected by an EU adequacy decision or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We never sell your data.

How long we keep it

  • Brief and reference images: 12 months after your final delivery, then deleted.
  • Order and invoice data: 10 years (French accounting law).
  • Marketing: until you unsubscribe, or 3 years after your last contact.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, limit or object to its use, get a copy (portability), and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to alexandre.studio.visuals@gmail.com. You can also complain to the CNIL (www.cnil.fr) or your local data protection authority.
